Super Power?

I completely disagree with the claim that India is a Super Power at this point. India is way behind to reach that stage, but I would like to be positive and hope that it will happen in the next few decades. As our finance minister rightly mentioned we do have a lot to learn and emulate from the Chinese model to reach that status. It is not just urban economic growth which we boast of at the moment matters. We need to get the basics right and have governments both at the centre and state which can deliver good governance. India can pronounce itself a super power only on a day when the fate of our rural economy is no longer driven by the monsoon.

Anandraj,
I agree with your point. But, is "Super Power" a worthy goal at all? There are so many better and sensible things to do.
